The most versatile and strongest landing gear set for light airplanes that we have ever seen. Injection molded reinforced plastic with 3mm carbon legs and 2mm steel hinge pins and axles, mounting screws are included. Base is approx. 5/8" W x 1-7/16" L x 7/16" H. Gear length can be up to 5" from hinge pin to center of wheel. Can be assembled in a couple of minutes. 90 degree or 85 degree operation to match wing dihedral.

A pair of retracts can be operated by a single micro servo (HS-55) mounted in the fuselage. These either "retract inward" or "retract outward". In both cases the servo remains in the fuselage. A pair of retracts can be used in tandem for planes like the Alfa Beaufighter or Flying Styro Mosquito. Additional parts in the kit allow you to adjust the gear offset and even to add scale, spring-loaded movement. The sprung "knuckle style" axle assembly has nearly 5/8" of movement and absorbs harsh landing loads. Clear instructions with exploded view drawings and dimensions.

Set includes sturdy main gear and steerable nose gear with 2.5mm wire. Custom designed for SFM290 Executive Jet, retracts screw in place with no modification. Includes retract units, pushrods, mounting screws and wheel retention hardware. Requires 2 servos, one for the main gear and one for the nose gear. The steering is provided by an additional pushrod connected to your existing rudder servo.

Retract landing gear for light models

1-1/4 x 9/16 x 1/2". Pair weight 1.2 oz. Smooth action with positive locks both up and down. Can be operated from standard Hitec HS-85 servo with the addition of a Du-Bro super strength servo arm.

Sturdy mechanical retracts - easy to install

Main body is made of nylon-reinforced composite. Smooth operation with positive lock in both directions of travel. Adjustable axels, no wire bending required. Units open to approximately 88 degrees, just right for most sport models with 2 degrees of dihedral. Requires a retract servo with 180 degrees of movement. The .40 and .60 units are the same overall size, only the wire diameter is different.
