Maybe now the incredible performance of good brushless motors is for everyone, even if his money is limited. The performance of Jeti "Phasor" motors is incredible and the prices are only slightly more than inexpensive brush-type motors. "Phasor" motors and Jeti Advance Brushless speed controls are both manufactured by Jeti. The motors are extremely powerful and are intended for direct drive of propellers instead of using gear reduction. The motors are small and light. In our tests we found them to be even more powerful than our computer simulations predicted. The motors have very strong propeller braking which you'll appreciate if you fly high-performance electric sailplanes. |
